Oyster Bay Public School Art & Craft Festival
Art and Craft Festival Information for OBPS Parents
Our Art and Craft Festival will run from 29 to 31 May 2026. It is one of the biggest events of the year and brings our school community together. The weekend is full of stalls, food, art displays and entertainment. Every family plays a part in making it happen.
A big thank you for volunteering, and we are grateful for your support. The Oyster Bay Art and Craft Festival cannot operate without you, and your help directly contributes to valuable resources for our children from the funds raised at the festival.
We’ve tried to make life easy and keep everything in one place so please see below for all information for OBPS Parents.
Please find the 2026 Art & Craft Festival volunteer roster at the link below:

How the volunteering works:
Every family will be allocated one shift on either the Saturday or Sunday, generally allocated by class groups. We have volunteer leads for each area who will support you and show you the ropes. More information on your allocated role will be sent out via your child’s class teacher.
If you can’t make your allocated shift, please coordinate with another parent to swap. We have a Facebook group to facilitate shift swaps or additional volunteering. Parents use it every year and it keeps everything organised. Please also let our Volunteer Manager Ali Bransdon know about your swap, so we know who to expect on the day: volunteers@oysterbayartandcraft.com.au
Please find the 2026 Oyster Bay Art & Craft Festival Swap Shift Facebook Group here:
On the day of your shift please arrive 10 minutes before your shift and come to the office to sign in and collect your badge, and allow time for a handover, please return your badge at the end of your shift to the office. Let the people at the gate know you are volunteering for your shift, and you will not be required to pay an entry fee.
Please make sure you’ve watched the square tutorial before your shift, so you know how to use the square terminal to take payments:
